I love this example of how Vail Ski Resort is changing a stay at their resort, into one big experience using technology. By adding RFID tags to all lift passes, they are allowing their visitors to earn rewards, track their stats and share professional photos via social networks. As the photos are being taken by professional photographers on the mountain, you can leave your own camera at home. As they encourage you to share your photos on social networks, you help to spread the word on how great a holiday place Vail is. What a great idea and what a great combination of tourism, destination marketing and technology.
